And while I'm asking for advice and you are all being so helpful

I want to ask you another thing that has been on my mind..

CUTTERS...

I have had the Making Memories one and it was awesome as long as I got it to cut straight..

then it went in the bin..

But I actually considered trying it again..what I love about it is that it has both CM and Inch..

I need that in a cutter and that limit's my options..

Now I have one bought at Staples that was even more expensive..

I have not liked it at all.. it cut's rough edges on my photo's and won't hold the paper/photo in place so it's almost impossible to use on photo's and not good at all on papers either..

I found one a few days ago that I started considering..

This one has both cm and inches and looks good but is it??

Do you have any experience with this one or do you have another one you think I should try??

I need a good one that will last for many years!!

First I want to thank all of you who tokk the time to share what card-stock your using for coloring! Thank you it helps so much! I have another question for you all too but I'll leave it for another day ;)

This challenge at The Sugar Bowl it's our sweet Sugar Mama Gayle who made a sweet sketch for us.

And we have a really fun option too, paper-piecing.

I also want to apologize for the foggy picture, I wish it was crisper but it's that time of year that even If I use the daylight lamp and the brightest time of day it just gets like this..

I promise it will get better :)

And maybe a link to where you buy it? Right now I'm using Neenah smooth or something like that.. I like it but I also like to experiment, so what do you color on? What makes your coloring POP and bright? Please tell me.. Maybe I should buy the same card stock I use now and maybe I should try something new??

Yepp you know me and my tags..

So I had to make a luggage tag too before going on my trip..

This one is before the laminating so I wouldn't have the issue with the flash while taking the picture..

It's the last of my Tiddly Ink Wryn images.. and the same papers I used on my Wryn cards..

On the back I printed out my name and address + Phone no in case my luggage should get lost..

And then it was laminated and put a BIG sweet ribbon on :)

Unpacking I found that I had shopped just as much for those I love with as for me..

even though I was supposed to renew my wardrobe a bit..

So I did a scrapbook page before I left..

Was planning to do more of those but I got in a fight with my printer and then I just gave up..

I'm going to try again and then he will be replaced by a newer better version if he won't cooperate..

Over et Ett Trykk this month the challenge is to make a one layer card.

Well I like to embellish and lots of pretty papers..

but I thought I'd give it a go anyway..

I have used Sugar Nellie - I grant you one wish ♥

She is colored with Prisma color pencils and I put pearls and liquid pearl on her bells and snowflakes so I could use her for a non winter/Christmas card.

Can you believe it? We already started a new year??

I wanted you all to see my Newest Bunny Zoe card ,
It's actually my husband's birthday card (poor guy not getting a masculine card but at least it's not a pink one with a girl on it..) His birthday is next week and as a birthday present to him I'm leaving him alone with the kids for 4 and a half day to go to London shopping with my girls from work..
This means him not getting himself to work as early as he should with two girls to get to two different places in the morning and him not getting any help getting them to wake up and dressing them etc etc..
Wow what a wonderful wife I am on his huuuuuuuuuusshhh 40th birthday but don't tell him I told you his age..
Good thing he got such a young wife ;)

After entering the contest of being guest designer for The Greeting Farm for December and coming in 2nd in the round 2 voting over at TGF's Facebook page I got contacted by Sweet Jessica asking if I would like to Design with TGF for a while starting with the January Release.

Sneaking in here to write this post this while having a bite to eat..

Doing the last of cleaning and tidying for the big day tomorrow..

While also doing damage control on my little ones albums after my husband and my 6 year old had a wee bit too much fun and half a cup of coffee ended up in Leonore's albums..

Well now I have real coffee stains on her pages and half of the page protectors are thrown away,

good thing I had a bunch of new ones ♥

So I have a tag for you today, my husband's Sorry about the bad picture as i took it in a hurry without my daylight lamp..

Last year my husband complained about getting a tag with a girl on.. I went through all my stamps and didn't find one that was him and christmasy..

So I remembered Some Odd girl had Penguins.. I ordered two and since I was not reading properly one of them was colored.. so that one won't be used.. It's my first time coloring penguins so I found it hard to shade the black..

A layout a week..

A layout or two a week should be my goal for the new year..

Unfortunately this has not been done this year but I think I'll try again this year.

+ Now I have the Studio Calico shipment every month so I think I might get there :)

For this layout I have also used the My Minds Eye stuff I got for my birthday with my Mum :)

I also used the sketch over at MME blog Sketch 30 just in time before they close the entries

All products used on this is MME except the trims and the tiny bit of washi tape.

The circles are cut out with spellbinder and magnolia dies and the papers for the die-cut's are from the 6x6"

The Sugar Bowl 74 My sketch

The last Sugar Bowl challenge of the year and we're using my sketch.

The option this time is one I'd rather not have but a challenge is a challenge so..

No store bought or digi design papers..

So to make this card I've used Stempel glede stamps Vintage Garden and a Christmas one that I don't remember the name of. I've stamped with Distress Ink and dotted a little around with liquid pearl.

The image I've used is Sugar Nellie Hello Little Robin

colored with Copic Markers and the wings are glittered with stickles and the snow is Flowersoft ♥

The sentiment is from Ladybug and friends.

The Prize is 4 stamps of winners choice or 6 if we get more than 100 entry's.

A lot of snow has come these last days but because I live where I live in Norway weather changes fast and I can very well wake up tomorrow with it all rained away..

Sharing a little of my weekend with you all..

Just a nice cozy Sunday inside..

Presents and breakfast in bed :)

Yesterday I got massage and my nails done :)

Birthday gift from my sweet husband some me time ♥

And then we got a new baby in the house..

We haven't agreed on a name for him yet..

Me and B. want to call him Furb as in Phineas and Ferb on the Disney channel..

One of few cartoons I think is so much cooler in Norwegian than English..

I made this card for the TGF Dec guest designer challenge,
then I made it to round two and was only a few votes away from getting the spot..
But I'm pretty sure that crafting time will be a little more limited now in December,

Just to warn you ahead.. this is picture heavy..

So this is the box that my coffee comes in..

I've collected them when their empty for a while to have for altering as their the perfect size..

This sweetie is Wish Upon a Star from Sugar Nellie and she is colored with Copic markers and

the wings are glittered with stickles.

The lid is used Spellbinder dies on and the dp is the same as the one I covered the box with,

The flowers are from Prima and so is the center piece

The die that I stamped the sentiment on is from Tickled Pink

Plese don't ask me the name of the paper it's one from lat year and it's something with chocolate

Christmas tag no.?

Well okay I realize I won't have a tag like this for every present..

But I can keep try making them and when I'm done you might be as fed up

with my tags as I am with Halloween cards on the web right now..

Last week I won a 15$ GC at Mo's in a contest..

And that lead into me picking 5 of my favourite's over at her store..

Surprise they were all Christmas ones.. One of them may be used as a Birthday too.

But I've already managed to make tag's with 4 of them..

Finally something crafty from me :)

Winter is arriving and that means harder to take pictures..

But since I bought the daylight lamp things are much better :)

So today I finally got pictures of a lot of stuff I've crafted. Both dt stuff and others..

First I want to start with the layout I made for last Sunday's Skissedilla (134)

But then I thought I'd have one for my Birthday and one for Christmas instead..

The Ironic thing is that there is Christmas stuff in the one for my birthday

and not in the Christmas one..

Yes I promised more Christmas tags..

I'm trying to make as many as I can to decorate my Christmas gifts.

I'm planning white or kraft paper and have ordered 3 spools of different colors twine

and are going to make as many tags as I can manage..

I will try to remember counting them before Christmas and see how many I've got..

For this card I've used Christmas Kisses

and cut away the mistletoe

The paper is from Poppy Design a Norwegian Paper producer.

And the snowflakes are WoJ cut out in Doodlebug Sugarcoated cardstock.
The sentiment is stamped on Tickled Pink die
And the sweet Sassy girl is colored with Copic's
And I put a little cheese cloth behind the papers for extra texture.

Some Bunny Zoe's yummies for you again..
A Christmas tag and prepare to see more of them..

My plan is to have made one special tag for every present..

But Christmas isn't far away so I will see if I get there..

For this tag I've used Hope For Peace Snowy and colored him with Copic

I also added some Stickles to make him a little frosted.

The beautiful papers are

Organza Ribbon - White and Flat Backed Pearls

I've also used snowflake die from Whiff of Joy and Sugar coated cardstock from doodlebug
for the snowflake doilie and pretty lace that I wish I'd know where to get more of..

Can you believe it I managed to make a CAS sketch... how did that ever happen??

Something I almost never do..

But I got an Idea and stuck with it..

I thought this Doodlebug Sugarcoated paper would look awesome on a

Winter/Christmas card..

The swirl is part of a Prima Bling swirl

And Glittered with Stickles

One last one with the Studio Calico Glee club kit

Yesterday I got the newest kit.. Seems it had an extra trip to South Europe..

The super-cute tag in the left corner is from some super cute clothes I buy for my girls ♥

I could probably buy the clothes just for these tags

but they are so sweet I don't need a excuse to spend a little extra on them ♥

The butterfly is a Martha Stewart one that my sweet friend Elaine send me after seeing them and thinking of my layouts, she knows me so well ♥

Using the Studio Calico Glee Club

Staying home with my 6 year old as she got the Chickenpox

this weekend.. She's okay at daytime and melts like hot Cheese at evenings..

Ans yes spots from the top of the head to all the way with a couple under her feet..

So now I'm hoping this little piggie (from the picture above)

also gets it so we're done.. Their kissing and hugging when little miss allow her big sis to do so,

so I think she will get it too..

The weather here is baaaaaaaaaad so happy I get to stay indoors..

Tomorrow Little Miss has her day off at daycare so with this weather I really don't know how to keep them

occupied all day... Wish me good luck♥

My last Bunny Zoe dt kit was quite Christmasy

And I'm in the mood for Christmas tags so that was perfect for me♥

Such a sweet way to decorate the Christmas gift,

you can wrap your presents in Kraft papers and put a handmade tag on it an it will look great!

So for this tag I've used

Funny Face...

Just another one of my layouts using the Studio Calico kit..

I am so proud that I'm finally back to making layouts on a regular basis again..

For so long cards have been the only thing I've wanted to do but now I feel like I have a balance

with both.. I do love making cards so very much but I do love making those layouts too!!

And with the daylight lamp I bought earlier this year I feel that taking good pictures of bot layouts

and cards go much better ♥♥
