Queen of the Nile - Saturated Canary

I just have to say I feel in love with this cutie the second I saw her ♥

Queen of the Nile 

is one of Krista's newest digi's.

Or in my head she just goes by Cleo, probably because of Monster High that my girls watches all the time..

She's coloured with Copic , the butterfly and paris/prostkarte stamp are from Whiff of Joy

I had fun colouring up a sweet Saturated Canary digi last week ,

have you seen Teacups?

I used Copic's to colour her and the paperpad is a old MMME one, The birdcage + bird is a Tim Holz die.

The postal stamps are from Whiff Of Joy 

The glittery heart I got from a Oh deer me kit and the white heart is a cardboard sticker not sure what brand but I can find out if anyone needs to know just leave me a note and a email address.

The stitched circle die is from Lil' Inker design.

Better late than never?? Saturated Canary Challenge

Well about 5 min ago I realized my blog post for Thursday wasn't up yet and I'm usually so precise on these.. so I really don't know what or who to blame.. only myself I guess..

The theme this time is Untraditional Christmas Colours

 Here in Norway Purple is a pre Christmas colour the colour we usually decorate advent with..

Since the time before Christmas is a hectic one with plenty of work, presents to be bought, and all that comes with that. I usually start early my Christmas decorating but this year I haven't had much time..

Paper Piecing at Sarurated Canary Challenge

At This challenge over at Saturated Canary we want to see some Paper Piecing.

Not something I usually do that much of so here is my try.

I paper pieced parts of her dress on and her socks 

The tiny sugar canes are not easy to shade. So I added some glossy accent on them 

to get a little extra depth to them.

The stars are a die-light from Whiff of Joy.The papers are from My Minds Eye.

Saturate Canary - Colouring Technique

We have a new challenge up at Saturated Canary 

and Sweet Ruby wanted us to do one of these colouring techniques 

dotted background, cloudy sky or faint line technique

So I was aiming for faint lines...

My printer was empty so I had to go to my FIL to get it printed out, It took like forever as I'm used to our's

and when it came out the lines was not as faint as I hoped for. 

So I added the dotted background just to be on the safe side for this challenge.

I was planning on making a card but then Leo needed a pretty bookmark 

and I asked her if she wanted one with this fairy on and she smiled from ear to ear so bookmark it was ;)

The cute fairy is called Comfy Slippers Fairy

and the papers are from a My Minds Eye paper pad.
