Bling Bling

So I needed a really girly tag for a Christmas gift I'm getting shipped next week and this is what I came up with..

I decorated with Crystals - Candy Pink and Crystals - Baby Blue around the edge I used extra glue as I dotted them around the edges so the gift tag would still look like this at Christmas when my niece get's her gift.. 

The die cuts are Christmas Baubles Die-Lights - and Swirly Leaves Die-lights

and I also used one of the beautiful Pearl Brads - White Basics

I found out it was about time to get started on the gift tags for this years christmas, not nearly all our gifts gets home made tags , I just don't have the time with extra hours spent at work in december and all the extra activity with the girls..but I like to get started and see how far I get..

Mermaids are cute ♥

This stamp is Aquarius from the Zodiac stamps from Whiff Of Joy but I don't think you can only use them as zodiac stamps this is a super sweet mermaid!
I used her on one of my coffe tags and paired her up with some bling for a bit of sparkly water bubbles..

Good Morning , today is my posting day over at the Whiff of Joy blog 

This time I made a tag using the largest of the new Large Nested Tag Die-lights ,

The largest one is both perfect to use by it self and to embellish a scrapbook page or a card!

I chalked the edges to warm it up, and used the new Charming Doily Die-Light

and Large Butterflies to layer the tag.

You can also make a hole at the top if you fancy and use this as a gift tag. That would be perfect for Christmas (never to early to start the Christmas tag production either..)

Isn't it nice having spring ♥ (Although today it's really crappy weather outside we have had some really nice weather lately if you don't count that it has been a little too cold most days)

I like to have some tags handy if I just want something to throw in a with a little gift..
Tags are so easy to make and the new Large Nested Tag Die-lights - set of 5 from Whiff of Joy are really awesome for this. This one is the largest one and all of the sizes are great to use as background for cards like on this card I made. The sentiment is from:  Happy Spring - Set of 9 - English Sentiments, the cloud is Nested Clouds Die-lights - set of 4, and the cute phone is "Staying in Touch" Die-Lights- set of 4 The brad is Pearl Brads - Pink Basics and I also used Crystals - Candy Pink.

Better late than never?? Saturated Canary Challenge

Well about 5 min ago I realized my blog post for Thursday wasn't up yet and I'm usually so precise on these.. so I really don't know what or who to blame.. only myself I guess..

The theme this time is Untraditional Christmas Colours

 Here in Norway Purple is a pre Christmas colour the colour we usually decorate advent with..

Since the time before Christmas is a hectic one with plenty of work, presents to be bought, and all that comes with that. I usually start early my Christmas decorating but this year I haven't had much time..

Hope to get some done tomorrow and Wednesday..

Whiff of Joy Christmas tags

It's always pretty with self made gift tags at Christmas ,

when I got my kit from WoJ the first thing that dropped to my mind was Tag's..

 Here is one up close 

I used my Tim Holtz big tag die but you can use anything and this is a typical tag that your able to buy precut too, or you can even cut rectangle and cut of two of the corners but be sure to measure first as I know from experience that uneven cutting won't look pretty!

And since we had to enter all 4 for a chance of winning the big prize I just had to throw myself around and whip something up... This post has lots of pictures as the challenge is to make a Matching set of 3..

So I made a Christmas Candy bag, with a Christmas card and a tag for the gift.

(yes I've used the Summer pad for several Christmas /fall projects..)

My Luggage tag..

Yepp you know me and my tags.. 

So I had to make a luggage tag too before going on my trip..

This one is before the laminating so I wouldn't have the issue with the flash while taking the picture..

It's the last of my Tiddly Ink Wryn images.. and the same papers I used on my Wryn cards..

On the back I printed out my name and address + Phone no in case my luggage should get lost..

And then it was laminated and put a BIG sweet ribbon on :)

Sneaking in here to write this post this while having a bite to eat..

Doing the last of cleaning and tidying for the big day tomorrow..

While also doing damage control on my little ones albums after my husband and my 6 year old had a wee bit too much fun and half a cup of coffee ended up in Leonore's albums..

Well now I have real coffee stains on her pages and half of the page protectors are thrown away,

good thing I had a bunch of new ones ♥

So I have a tag for you today, my husband's Sorry about the bad picture as i took it in a hurry without my daylight lamp..

Last year my husband complained about getting a tag with a girl on.. I went through all my stamps and didn't find one that was him and christmasy..

So I remembered Some Odd girl had Penguins.. I ordered two and since I was not reading properly one of them was colored.. so that one won't be used.. It's my first time coloring penguins so I found it hard to shade the black..
